He credited Assembly Member Jacobson for securing part of the grant funding and said the city added electric vehicles to four departments in 2025 and expects to add two more, with three new dual-port EV charging stations planned (two at City Hall, one at the community center). "This winter, we also completed installation of a new 100 kilowatt solar power array at the top of our highway garage, which will increase the city's self generated electric capacity to around 75%."
