Staff reported the quoted fee was about "$6,000" and that the consultant estimated a four‑week turnaround to compile existing data into a usable report (SEG 1479–1500). Commissioners said the county is at the headwaters for some groundwater resources, and that the study would help the board understand growth capacity and potential constraints.
