Rentsch said the district team has met again with the architect regarding a potential addition to the high school and asked whether the board wished to proceed with preparing a design set so the district would be ready if the project moves forward; board members indicated consensus to continue with design work. Claymont Education Association remarks were noted: Mrs. Host thanked participants in a recent jean‑day fundraiser that raised $1,871 for student scholarships.
The presentation did not include a final decision to build; the board's action was to continue the planning and design process so a design set exists if and when the district elects to advance the project. Mr. Rentsch and board members indicated future discussions will include funding options and further architect presentations.
