Jasper CCSD 17 board elects new officers, assigns committees

The board convened a reorganizational meeting during the April session and elected new officers for two‑year terms. Jarad Blanton moved and Shawn Otey seconded the motion electing Josh Zurliene as board president; the vote was recorded as unanimous.
The board also elected Justin Atwood as vice‑president and Beth Titzer as secretary, each to two‑year terms. The new president appointed members to the Building and Grounds, Finance and Policy committees, named a WOVSED delegate and set parent/advisory committee membership. Meeting dates, times and location were set per the board packet.
