Board sets substitute pay rates and standard work days for appointed officials
Summary

The Board approved a schedule of substitute pay rates effective July 1, 2025: Substitute Teacher $125/day (retired substitutes $150/day; 15–30 day assignments $140/day; 31–92 days $150/day), Substitute School Nurse $145/day, and hourly support rates (Substitute Cleaner, Clerical, Food Service Helper, Aide and Typist) at $15.50 per hour. The motion carried 7–0.
Separately, the Board approved the Standard Work Day resolution for appointed officials and will report days worked to the NYS and Local Employees’ Retirement System based on records; the resolution lists the District Clerk M. Eadie as 7.5 hours per day for the term 7/1/25–6/30/26.
