The Board approved second readings and adoption of several policies, including Policy 3311 (Notification of Disclosure of Employee Disciplinary Records), Policy 5220 (District Investments), Policy 5685 (Max Temp for Buildings and Facilities), Policy 7221 (Participation in Graduation Ceremonies and Activities), and Policy 7441 (Student Voter Registration and Pre‑Registration). The votes were unanimous.
Trustees further reviewed the first reading of Policy 7316 (Use of Internet‑Enabled Devices and Cell Phones During the School Day) and a draft dress code. Administration explained the disciplinary ladder for device misuse (first offense: device held and returned end of day; second: parent pick up; third: parent pick up plus possible suspension) and discussed options for storage (pouches, backpacks) and communication alternatives. The Board agreed to align the no‑hat rule and the device policy through 10th period.
On curriculum items, the Board adopted the textbook series Explore Modern Carpentry (14th Edition, G‑W Publisher, copyright 2026) for the Technology Department, effective 2025‑26.
