The Board approved a facilities-fee schedule effective July 2, 2025, establishing per-use charges for different district facilities: classrooms $10/use; computer labs $65/use (district instructor required); high school whole gym $100/use; auditorium $250/use; multipurpose athletic facility $200/use; and a range of field and equipment fees. The schedule includes additional charges for lifeguards, technology staff for sound/lighting, and weekend staffing when full-time staff attendance is required.
The resolution notes use is based on an average two-hour occupancy as the minimum fee base, that inclement weather does not exempt payment for extra field work already performed, and that not-for-profit organizations generally serving Barker students may be exempted from fees.
