The Board voted unanimously to authorize the School District Treasurer to open and maintain deposit accounts with official depositories and to execute required signature cards and deposit agreements on behalf of Barker Central School District.
Separately, the Board approved a long list of potential bank and financial-institution depositories for 2025–26 with deposit amounts not to exceed $20 million, and appointed Lumsden & McCormick, LLP as External Auditor for the district at a billing rate of $19,400 inclusive of the cost of a single audit plus out-of-pocket expenses. The Board also named Municipal Solutions, Inc. as designated financial consultant and Bond Schoeneck & King, LLC as bond counsel.
