Members also said they could not find city events on the online calendar and asked the chief to follow up; he agreed to check the event calendar and to circulate alternatives for posting and promotion. Volunteers on the committee offered to help with logistics such as shirts and food; the chief said he would check committee budget rules and follow up on shirts and materials.
