Commission approves BRAKE Masters site plan for US Highway 80 location

Staff told the commission the site plan for BRAKE Masters at North of US Highway 80 and East of Cypress Hollow Drive covers a "45,000 square feet" lot with a building that "consists of 5,900 square feet" and includes "9 automotive repair bays." Staff said the landscaping and parking comply with zoning and recommended approval.
Commissioners asked whether customers would use shared parking with the adjacent Home Depot and about parking outside the repair bays; staff (S4) explained there will be parking "outside the front of the store and then, some parking on the side each side." After the clarification, a motion to approve the site plan was made and seconded; the chair declared the motion carries.
The approval moves the project forward to administrative permitting and building plan review.
