The board approved several agreements and memberships on Jan. 12. Members approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Kent State University for participation in College Credit Plus during the 2026–27 school year and authorized the district's annual Ohio School Boards Association membership at a cost of $8,398.
The board also approved technology- and facilities-related contracts: a contract with OME-RESA for internet services using E-Rate, a Congruex contract for fiber removal and set-up at the central office, and a contract with Laketec for UPS unit services using E-Rate funds. The board additionally approved the list of classified substitutes for the 2025–26 school year pending credentialing, including Theodore "Buddy" White.
