Historic Johnson House likely to be removed; board discusses signage and picnic-site memorial

"We're thinking it's probably time to take it down," Committee member (Speaker 4) said, proposing removal and replacement with a sign describing the old schoolhouse and a picnic table. Board members discussed inviting the town to review the town hall and coordinate on restoration priorities and said they would schedule a site visit and follow-up discussion.
The historical-society exhibits on local farms and related presentations remain ongoing, and members asked to be included for a walk-through and to document the house's condition before any action.
