Council delays Efta fence permit pending property-owner consent

Plevna council members on Feb. 9 postponed a decision on a building permit application for a fence proposed by 'Efta' after members raised questions about property ownership and marked boundaries.
Mayor Gary Thielen said he had not seen any flags marking the proposed fence line and told the council that approval would require written consent from the property owner(s) for placing the fence across two lots. Councilwoman Michele Gray said the location was marked with some steel posts but reiterated that ownership/consent documentation was needed. The council agreed to postpone a vote until the applicant provides confirmation from affected owners.
