Mara told the board Shady Meadow will receive full concrete pavement reconstruction and utility work to address chronic flooding.
She said the project will upsize an existing 4-inch water line to an 8-inch line (the typical residential standard) and include storm-sewer improvements; the sewer may require additional review. Mara described the funding mix as water-repair funds, 4B/EDC funds and storm-water capital funds, and she provided design and construction figures in the meeting packet and slides.
Brady confirmed design allocations for the project this fiscal year as $127,000 and construction the following year as approximately $970,000, per the figures given during the discussion. Staff did not request a formal approval for Shady Meadow during the meeting; the project will be prioritized within the five-year plan and return for design and funding confirmation.
