Council approved a business license for Cast Iron Kitchen after a presentation by prospective operators Shanna Campbell and Melissa Albertson. Campbell said the concept will offer "a small burger & fry menu as well as a small breakfast menu, tacos, and chicken wraps," and the Council voted to approve the license (motion by Councilor Roger Hodge, seconded by Councilor Dean Brizendine).
Separately, Casse Roozeboom proposed placing vending machines in the Park. Council members expressed concern about vandalism and logistics; Administrator Worley encouraged him to research theft-resistant cages and stock/restock plans and return with a formal business license application when ready.
The Council recorded both items during the April 14 meeting; the Cast Iron Kitchen license was approved unanimously.
