Hines police report: 197 calls, three search warrants executed with regional partners

Police Chief Ryan DeLange told the Council that the department handled 197 calls for service during the reporting period, including domestic and assault calls, vehicle crashes, thefts and other incidents, and that officers executed three search warrants with regional partners.
"We worked well with Deschutes County and the other agencies. All officers did a fabulous job," DeLange said, describing a joint operation with Deschutes County, Harney County Sheriff's Office, Burns Police Department and Harney County Parole & Probation that resulted in operations at two houses and one vehicle. DeLange said the department plans more coordinated efforts with neighboring jurisdictions on remaining targets.
DeLange also reported department logistics items: new motor in Officer Radinovich's car, one officer attending drone school, pending internet quotes for police cars, and ongoing RMS training.
