The council approved two business-license items during the meeting: a relocation/ownership transfer for Black Diamond Truck Pilot Service and a new business license for Petty Energy LLC, operated by Ashley Justice.
Regarding the Black Diamond Truck Pilot Service transfer, council members noted trailers parked at the relocation address and concerns about flat tires and visible junk; the applicant committed to cleaning the trailers and staff said the license can be reversed if the property is not cleaned. Council approved the transfer by voice vote.
Ashley Justice introduced herself at the podium and described Petty Energy LLC as offering salon and spa services. "This is Ashley Justice, Petty Energy LLC. You can see salon services, spa, pedicures..." she said. The council moved to approve the business license and the motion passed.
Council members said they would monitor the Black Diamond property for compliance and follow up if the site is not made compliant with city standards.
