Staff said they are exploring the cost of translation and how to present the plan in both English and Spanish; the transcript records staff asking for time to work through options and for members to submit questions they want addressed when the planning bodies return recommendations.
The resolution directs the city clerk to submit the plan to the respective planning bodies and initiate the required 30-day review period. Council members were briefed on the next steps: planning-body review, public hearing, and then a council vote to adopt or not adopt the plan once recommendations and public comment are received.
