Residents urge strict enforcement of scenic-overlay rules, question coverage maps

Another commenter argued the applicant’s submitted maps misrepresented coverage needs: "The maps are blatantly lying to you in the material," the commenter said, urging the board to require clearer, zoomed-in technical exhibits. Several speakers asked the board to demand alternative sites and designs rather than accept a single proposed location.
Applicant and consultants disputed that the maps were intentionally misleading and told the board they would provide additional detail and that the town’s consultant (Cityscape) would review the October submissions. The board preserved the public hearing record and continued the hearing to allow time for supplemental materials and for Cityscape to respond.
