The Ancram Planning Board unanimously approved a requested lot-line alteration early in the Dec. 4 meeting after the applicant described a pin-correction that adjusted parcel acreage.
An applicant representative explained that an original 3.008-acre parcel, following the boundary adjustment, is now approximately 3.18 acres and that split-rail fencing and new pins had revealed the discrepancy. The board moved to approve the lot-line alteration; the motion was seconded and the vote carried. The chair instructed the applicant to supply embossed-seal copies of the final map before recording: "I can't sign these maps because they don't have the embossed seal," the chair said.
Outcome: motion approved. The applicant was told to submit embossed originals; the chair offered to sign them when provided so the applicant would not have to wait for the next meeting.
