Volunteer and speaker Scott Gordon (S11) told the council, "I do have a fix for it that it wouldn't be too bad to do... I was kind of... volunteering to fix that south side..." Council ultimately passed a motion to have the certified welder remove the broken section, post signage, and form a schedule for larger removal or replacement work later in the year.
