A presenter described the contract as a yearly update with no substantive changes other than adjustment to reimbursement percentages required by the collective bargaining agreement. "This is a routine yearly updated contract. There's no changes except for the percentages required through the collective bargaining agreement," the presenter told council. After a motion and second, the council approved the contract by roll call.
The contract will fund officers assigned to schools, and staff said implementation will follow the budget and the terms negotiated with the school district.
