Council adopts updated City of Harrison fee schedule after public hearing

Council member Joe Cornell moved to approve the update, and Josephine Prophet seconded; the four members present—John Gray, Joe Cornell, Josephine Prophet and Will Butler—voted AYE. The council opened a public hearing on the schedule earlier in the meeting.
At the hearing, resident Russell Riberich inquired whether materials for the public hearing were available. Clerk/Treasurer Miriah Pfeiffer told the council the notice had been published twice in the Gazette Record and that materials were available at City Hall. Josephine Prophet, who presented the schedule on behalf of the Administration Committee, provided explanations for each proposed fee change.
The council’s formal approval makes the updated fee schedule effective as adopted; the minutes do not specify an implementation date or the individual fee amounts.
