Fitzpatrick noted the town’s current lease specifies the town is responsible for capital maintenance on the historic building and asked the board to seek exterminator bids and consider leasing options.
Deny Benson suggested the town explore a 99-year lease for $1 in which The Little School organization would assume full maintenance responsibility. The board agreed to review the existing lease and requested bids for extermination and other capital work to inform any lease negotiation or amendment.
