Library representative Debbie Granquist invited the public to the library’s grand opening on Aug. 8, 2026, from 3 to 5 p.m., saying the driveway will be closed and organizers will set up a tent on site. The minutes list designated parking at the green, the old mill yard and the Vermont Country Store and note space set aside for dignitaries and handicap parking; the Fire Department will assist with traffic and parking control.
Invitations are planned to be issued soon, and organizers asked the public to follow posted directions on the day of the event. The board recorded no costs or funding allocations associated with the event in the minutes; logistical assistance will be provided by the Fire Department.
