Board accepts parcel-tax oversight report; committee found no issues

The Novato Unified Board of Trustees accepted the 2024–25 Parcel Tax Oversight Committee annual report after a presentation from committee volunteers and staff. Rick Van Adelsberg, a volunteer member of the committee, told trustees the committee had reviewed expenditures and "found no issues whatsoever with the expenditures during the reporting period." Staff noted a typographical error on the front page (Trustee Alexander's name) that would be corrected before print.
The board moved to accept the report (1st by Trustee Alexander, 2nd by Trustee Pickens) and approved it by the customary '7 and 2 student trustees' vote. The presenter reviewed meeting dates and the committee's review process and invited trustees to suggest any additional corrections before final publication.
