Security assistants urge district to honor negotiated uniform terms

"Allow us to wear the district issued uniform as designed, including shorts without discretionary restrictions," Rojas said, arguing the request was about dignity, professionalism and practical safety‑work needs rather than defiance. He asked the board to respect bargaining and trust the professionals who supervise students daily.
