Jacqueline Elkins, a parent of three, said she valued Dr. Baker’s engagement with parents and urged continuity in collaborative bodies such as the superintendent parent advisory committee.
Speakers requested concrete steps: clearer evaluation timelines for district administrators, more transparent hiring vetting, and a plan to address enrollment and instructional materials needs. The board acknowledged comments and recorded them in the public‑comment portion of the meeting; no formal board action on these concerns was taken during the session.
