Superintendent Mr. Henry told the board that District Architect Paul Lunsford is arranging a pre-construction meeting for Phase III of the district's HVAC project, expected within the next two to three weeks, with construction anticipated during Summer 2025.
Mr. Henry also reported that Mr. Gunter received a replacement estimate for entry doors and glass that exceeds the $50,000 threshold that triggers competitive bidding. Henry recommended the board authorizes himself and Mr. Gunter to engage the District Architect to facilitate the bidding process in preparation for a Summer 2025 completion. Mr. Gunter additionally said a regional pipe-lining contractor had been contacted about lining cast-iron sewer drain lines in the K–12 complex but needs a camera/video inspection to provide an estimate.
