The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Sample and seconded by Spence; the roll-call vote was six yeas and zero nays.
The board also approved payments listed in the packet: bills totaling $289,172.74 and salaries totaling $447,197.28. The consent motion included authorization for the superintendent or designee to apply for state, federal and private grants and approval of a facility-use request for the Sesser-Valier Devil Rays to use the VFW baseball/softball field with restrictions and no fee. The board president declared the motion carried following the roll call.
