Harbor resiliency and dam removal work gets project updates; public engagement session scheduled

Jeremy Martin (speaker 2) said the library and Richardson Associates (Blake Sanborn) are moving forward with the Harbor Park side of the project and noted that the library is hosting a public engagement session to review current designs and solicit public input.
Board and public speakers emphasized that the design work needs community conversation, that some harbor-side infrastructure work is included in the grant, and that the town will likely need a project manager for the full $6 million project. The board and staff urged residents to attend the library’s public session on August 11 to ask questions of the technical team and weigh in on design options.
