The board adopted the district's 2026-27 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
"The Local Control Accountability Plan or LCAP is a critical part of California's Local Control Funding Formula or LCFF," a staff presenter told the board, outlining that the LCAP sets district goals and actions for student groups and ties to the state's eight priority areas. Staff noted the local indicators report will be published on the California School Dashboard on October 15.
Board members praised the clarity of the document and acknowledged earlier improvements in presentation. The motion to approve the LCAP passed on a roll call of trustees present.
