The board discussed succession for the president and vice-president/clerk roles as the annual term nears its end. The chair said Trustee Lumetta offered to move into the president role; several trustees said they must decline leadership because of calendar or personal constraints. Trustee Alexander was nominated for consideration but no decision was made during the meeting.
The chair said the matter will return for a formal vote at the board's next regular meeting on Dec. 16. Trustees used the discussion period to note appreciation for current leadership and to clarify availability rather than to nominate or elect officers at this meeting.
