Separately, developers submitted a new plan for Parcel D proposing 57 townhouses and nine single-family homes while preserving a five-acre access road as open space. The Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 to refer a zoning text amendment to county and township planning commissions that would permit higher-density housing on land currently designated as open space.
The board’s discussion flagged the referral as a key next step: the planning commissions will review the proposed text change before the township considers modifications to local zoning rules. No implementation timeline for Parcel D was provided in the meeting minutes.
