The Midvale City Council adopted Resolution No. 2025-R-40 on June 17 to amend the Fiscal Year 2025 General Fund by $156,500. Administrative Services Director Mariah Hill outlined the proposed adjustments: Information Technology $48,000 for unexpected one-time expenses; Recorder $7,000 for the 2025 municipal election; City Attorney $75,000 for litigation expenses; Harvest Days $20,500 for the August 2025 event (including an additional $12,000 float); and Public Safety $6,000 for a contract increase.
Council Member Heidi Robinson moved to adopt the amendments; Council Member Paul Glover seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Hill said the adjustments increase both revenues and expenditures by the stated amount and provided the council with the breakdown during the meeting.
