Council adopts zoning-code clarification to streamline map and text amendment process

Anderson said staff found the proposal "meets the third criteria listed above" by making the ordinance language clearer and more consistent with current practice.
The public comment period was opened with no speakers. Council Member Heidi Robinson moved to approve Ordinance No. 2025-O-10; Council Member Bonnie Billings seconded and the ordinance was adopted on unanimous roll call. The amendment was presented as a housekeeping and clarity-focused update to bring local code language into better alignment with state statute and current practice.
