The Middlebury Community Schools board accepted two donations at its Aug. 4 meeting. Dr. Snyder reported that Rightway Steel Incorporated donated $500 to Northridge High School cheerleading and that the Joel and Amy Doothy family fund (a donor-advised fund at the Community Foundation in Belcourt County) donated $2,500 to Northridge girls tennis. A motion to accept the donations was seconded and approved by the board, 5–0.
Dr. Snyder noted the donor-advised fund is administered through a local community foundation; the board thanked donors and district staff for enabling extracurricular support for student-athletes.
