The Midvale City Council on June 17 approved Resolution No. 2025-R-38, the first amendment to the development agreement for "The Aaron by Signature." Elizabeth Arnold, Senior Planner, explained the amendment replaces a condominium plat requirement with a homeowners’ association plat, which the developer says will make the process more efficient while retaining the project's ownership characteristics.
Council Member Bonnie Billings moved to approve the resolution; Council Member Heidi Robinson seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Staff recorded no changes to unit counts or public dedications in the amendment language provided to the council. The amendment is now part of the recorded development agreement and staff will implement the revised platting requirement in ensuing permitting and platting steps.
