Board introduces Bobby Davis as new LFO High School principal

The Catoosa County Public Schools board formally introduced Bobby Davis as the new principal at LFO High School. Davis, an LFO graduate with decades of local experience, told the board he intends to focus on student leadership, involvement and meeting pupils where they are academically and behaviorally.
The Catoosa County Public Schools board on Aug. 4 formally introduced Bobby Davis as the new principal at LFO High School. Superintendent Nicks said the district hired five new principals this year and presented Davis to the board; Davis then addressed trustees and attendees.
"As an LFO grad, it is an honor to be the principal," Davis said, adding that he has served in the county for 28 years and expects students to "lead by example, focus on success, and own their actions." He told the board the district will meet students "where they come to us" academically and behaviorally and encouraged involvement in extracurriculars as a predictor of success.
Board members offered congratulations and recalled graduation memories and personal connections to LFO. The recognition took place near the start of the Aug. 4 agenda and was followed by other personnel and program updates.
