Topics the board discussed included a paid‑parking pilot and associated fee schedules and Town Meeting capital requests; a Marina Enterprise Fund plan tied to slip fees and potential charges for electricity and water hookups; an ADA improvements schedule and prioritization informed by an Alpha accessibility report; migration of town meeting recordings and documents to YouTube and a new CivicPlus website for better accessibility; dredging funding options for the harbor; and housing actions including ADU grant proposals and a community land trust model. The chair said he would clean up the draft goals and circulate a rank‑ordering exercise to members prior to a follow‑up session.
Board members repeatedly emphasized two procedural constraints: many actions will require Town Meeting appropriation (for capital purchases or engineering) and several planning items require consultant or staff capacity and community engagement before articles can be ready for a ballot. The board directed staff to provide timelines, scope‑of‑work outlines and likely cost estimates for the heaviest lift items before the next meeting.
