Preston said a recent rabies clinic vaccinated 69 dogs and 30 cats (89 rabies vaccines administered) and placed 46 microchips. He distributed road reports showing grading schedules by district and noted major projects on Church Street in Denmark and Apache Road in the Bamberg community. Preston further reported that the county received FEMA proceeds for the Emergency Operations Center and partner office and that FEMA representatives will visit the DSS location for an on‑site review.
The administrator described the first Ehrhardt rodeo as drawing about 2,000 attendees and said a ribbon cutting for Riley Drive and a broadband groundbreaking will be scheduled soon. Council accepted the report as information.
