Board authorizes staff to submit NASB high-school transformation application combining career pathway and family-engagement elements

After discussion about alignment with current city efforts and incoming administration priorities, the board authorized staff to prepare and submit the application incorporating the strongest elements of options B and C, with the understanding the award would fund initial planning and landscape analysis and that further investment would be needed to build a citywide technical system. "It is a 2 year project that would start in the fall of 2026. We go to 2028," a staff presenter said, and the board voted to move forward with submission.
