Mendon board approves routine agenda items, treasurer's report and bills; sets August meeting for Aug. 11
Summary
The board approved the agenda and the June minutes, accepted the treasurer's report, approved June bills, recorded that Jake Mohney returned to the department, and agreed to move the August meeting from Aug. 4 to Aug. 11 because of the Primary Election.
At the July 7, 2026, Mendon Township Fire Board meeting the body completed routine administrative business: members approved the meeting agenda (motion by Treasurer Griffith, supported by Trustee Watson) and approved the June 2, 2026 minutes (motion by Trustee Watson, supported by Trustee Batten). The treasurer's report was submitted and approved (motion by Clerk Donna Cupp, supported by Trustee Batten). Board members then approved June bills for payment (motion by Treasurer Griffith, supported by Trustee Watson). Each motion was recorded in the minutes as "motion carried."
The board also recorded a personnel update that Jake Mohney has returned to the Fire Department and formally agreed to reschedule the August meeting from Aug. 4 to Tuesday, Aug. 11 because Aug. 4 conflicts with the Primary Election. The meeting adjourned at 6:37 p.m. on a motion by Clerk Cupp, supported by Treasurer Griffith.
