The Mendon Township board approved routine items during the July 7 meeting, including a request to place a Riverfest advertisement and scheduling adjustments for August.
Trustee Leasa G. Mathews moved, supported by Treasurer Jan Griffith, "to run an ad for the $800.00 advertising for 2026 River fest," and the motion carried. The board also agreed to change the August 4 regular meeting to Tuesday, August 11 because of the August 4 primary election.
The treasurer's report was presented and approved on a motion by Clerk Donna Cupp supported by Trustee Jim Hart. The board also approved the June bills on a motion by Hart supported by Mathews. A motion to adjourn by Griffith, supported by Hart, ended the meeting at 7:29 p.m.
These approvals were presented as routine business and carried without extended discussion.
