At the July 7 meeting Chief Oatley told the Mendon Township Fire Board that June had been a busy month and July was tracking similarly, noting several operational and training items the department is handling. He reported turning reimbursement receipts over to Clerk Donna Cupp for chainsaw chains and a pinched bar and said he had to buy fuel at the Shell station during a power outage.
Oatley also said he needs online access to Premier Safety Group to complete his Fire Officer 2 class to meet state requirements. The chief's training status and the equipment reimbursements were recorded as part of the floor business; no separate motions on these items were reported.
