Board approves student and adult meal price increases

The board voted to raise student and adult meal prices at its July 9 meeting. Approved changes include student lunch from $3.75 to $4.00 and student breakfast from $2.75 to $3.00; adult and holiday meal rates were increased as listed in the packet (for example, adult lunch from $4.75 to $6.00). John Patrick moved approval and Amber Locke seconded; the vote was 6-0.
Board members recorded their votes in the minutes. District staff said the pricing adjustments will be implemented per the usual meal-management procedures and are reflected in the budget packet.
