Council asks WFRC plan to reclassify Riverdale Road and designates south end for City Center plan

Planner Alika Murphy presented the Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC) Land Use Vision Draft Plan and displayed a map and visual presentation. Council members reviewed the map and requested changes to the draft land-use designations along Riverdale Road and at the south end of the city.
Specifically, the council asked that the area along Riverdale Road be changed to a Retail District (blue on the plan) and that the area at the city's south end currently designated Retail District be changed to a City Center (orange). Planner Murphy also announced that South Ogden had received a WFRC Transportation Grant to create a City Center Area Plan to guide future land use and investment.
