South Weber approves $635,268.74 FY2026 street maintenance contract with Black Forest Paving

Councilman Wayne Winsor moved to approve Resolution 25-31, awarding the FY2026 Street Maintenance Project contract to Black Forest Paving in the amount of $635,268.74; Councilman Jeremy Davis seconded. Mayor Rod Westbroek called for a roll call vote; Council Members Davis, Dills, Halverson, Petty and Winsor voted aye and the motion carried.
Brandon Jones said the contractor will begin work with the walking path along 7800 South. Jones reported Black Forest Paving was the low bidder and that staff checked references, receiving positive feedback. The council approved the resolution by roll call vote, formally authorizing the contract award.
