Rolla council approves 2025 transfers and multiple budget amendments

The Rolla City Council voted unanimously Jan. 21 to approve a set of 2025 interfund transfers and multiple budget amendments recommended by the Administrative Committee.
The transfers reallocated funds from contingency and other accounts into the Community Center, water improvement and street funds and listed specific moves such as $209,000 from Contingency (230) to General and multiple water and infrastructure transfers. Council also adopted budget amendments that revised the General Fund to $819,000 and adjusted Highway Distribution to $608,500, among other line-item changes. The motions were moved and seconded by Alex Albert and Damond Schemmel and passed with all members voting Aye.
