Board approves substitute appointments, internships and Code of Conduct committee
Summary
The Board appointed two per-diem substitutes, approved a Public Relations stipend, accepted three unpaid BOCES interns and appointed students, teachers and parents to a Code of Conduct/Dress Code ad hoc committee.
On unanimous motions the Board approved personnel actions including appointment of Kylie Annable and Troy Callard as per-diem substitute teachers and aides at $15.50 per hour, appointment of Jeffrey Costello as Public Relations/Banner Content Creator with an annual stipend of $3,498.88 for 2024–25, and acceptance of three BOCES unpaid interns (Rachel Samson, Kaleigh Thuman, Madilyn Detschner).
The Board also approved membership for a Code of Conduct/Dress Code Panel ad hoc committee composed of students, teachers and parents (student members: Michael Kalynycz, Wyatt Payne, Peyton Bradley, Jocelyn Schmitt; teachers and parent members listed in minutes). A mentor appointment (Mary Dudek for Hanna Andrews) with a pro-rated stipend of $750 was also approved.
